Abogados Americanos Staffing, LLC was born out of the pandemic, when Ian Grady, then a trial attorney at Monge & Associates, began working remotely with a Colombian lawyer, Sebastian Giraldo. Ian went on to lead the first fully remote team at Monge & Associates while handling the firm's Spanish-speaking litigation cases. With a vision to start a new type of law firm, Ian left Monge & Associates to partner with famed Plaintiff's attorney Alexander Shunnarah and launch Pain Pros: Injury Attorneys in September of 2021.
Ian's first hire was local in Atlanta (to handle mail), but his second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth hires were all out of Medellín, Colombia. With over a million dollars in attorneys fees won in Pain Pros' first calendar year, Ian attributes much of his early success (ability to scale & keep the firm's case manager-to-client ratio down) to his utilization of remote Colombian labor.
A believer in the remote/hybrid model, Ian travels to Colombia frequently. So, in August 2022, after a colleague, Judge Danny Nagel, asked where he could meet a hard-working Colombian, Ian knew just the guy, personally (as in they had met in person), and Abogados Americanos Staffing, LLC was born.
